The Way Others SHOULD Be Treated

          Treat others the way you want to be treated- one of Heavenly Fathers golden commandments. I try to live by the commandments because if you are going to treat someone with disrespect, you should count on being treated the way you treated them. A lot of people tend to do an action before they think about the consequence of what could come of that action. Its the saying " think before you act" so you dont do anything stupid.
        
         But, sometimes it doesn't end up that way. In the story, The Old Man With Enormous Wings, the angel's intentions were to heal the ill baby, but the village thought his intentions were to take the baby, as if the ill baby were passing and he was a dark angel, and because of this miss interpretation he was tortured. This story reminds me of a saying; one can influence a million, by saying that, I mean when the angel came, someone accused him of being a dark angel. So that's what everyone else took the old man as. Sense the village thought he was a dark angel he was put in a cage so others could see him. When he gave patience, everyone was poking him, taking his feathers, and treating him as if he where a circus animal.
       
         People also took advantage of the "miracles" he could perform, they would touch him and want to be healed from their illness they had and instead of fixing their illness something good came out of it. Because, I try to be nice and patient with everyone sometimes or most of the time I get mentally "stepped on". I can't help how people are the way they are, but i can help the way I react to the way they treat me. I just remember I am striving to be the way my Heavenly Father made me even if my peers aren't being who they should be. I am here for Him to do His work that he has given me the responsibility to do here on earth and not here for my peers.
       
        A circus came to town and the village reacted more fascinated with the spider woman, she was diagnosed that way because she disobeyed her parents. On the other hand the angel that had fallen from heaven, flying in the rain to heal a sickly baby was basically forgotten about. So when everyone left the angel alone to go look at "exottic" spider woman the angel was able to heal.
       
       Everyone should live and strive to live by Heavenly Fathers commandments. When Jesus came to earth he was crucified and tortured, similar to what happened to the old man with enormous wings. People react more to Satan's doings than Heavenly Fathers and Jesus Christs doings because Satan's doings are more physical and easier to grasp. Its really easy to sin because people do it all the time, everyday. But, following Heavenly Father's commandments and trying as hard as you can to be like him is really hard, but can be done, and will be rewarded for. Being Christ like is so much more worth it then shutting others down, taunting them, and making them feel bad.
